For example, I have been working as an artist without ever being involved with an institution like an art university. While I believe that such a place could provide knowledge about art, I’m not sure if it truly nurtures the physicality of drawing. There are countless drawing tips available on the internet as well. However, all of them seem to construct safety mechanisms before reaching the core of the act. Education, particularly the installation of language, solidifies a person’s consciousness into a rigid shell. I cry as I burn the notes I have written. The more paper there is, the bigger the fire grows. That fire undeniably warms my current body and keeps my life connected.

International Shipping
