Fine art fostered by digital media, especially Internet culture, used glitches frequently, especially in commendations involving characters.
It can be said that this was a way of creating a digital feel that was actively adopted by the art movement that emerged in Japan in the late zero’s. However, this was also a realistic view that was spreading before our eyes.
The electronic media of the time, when social networking and video sites were launched, was a real explosion of chaos, as if we were on a new continent, meeting people we did not know.
Even legally gray-area expressions were positively celebrated and enjoyed by all kinds of viewers.
But the flames died down and what remained was the Internet as a real world.
Characters (we humans) were tossed about by dismantling and joining, and gradually came to accept the sadness of the real body and the offline world as if to heal a splintered psyche.
Thus the land that was thought of as a second home eventually ceased to exhale Mana.
