I’ll try to write about my impressions of summer.
I am Japanese, so it is summer in Japan.

I used to hate it.
I used to hate summer because it was hot and made me sweat.
I felt that sweat was unclean.
I also hated insects.
Anyway, it is the season that makes me sick.

Now I like it.
Maybe it is because I am approaching a stupid, ugly, disastrous, death-like existence like summer.
In Japan, there are music and video works that play summer scenes.
I don’t know, but I feel that it has a distinctive atmosphere not found in other countries, and all of it is wonderful.
It is such a hell that people cannot live outside very much in recent years, but there are numerous absurdities here that are worth facing, and kicks for gaining strength.
I am at my wits’ end in the summer alone, wanting to die, and wiping the sweat off my face, knowing that I must live somehow.
